Coming Summer of 2019!

Our Summer Master Dance Intensives are rigorous training programs designed for motivated dancers, ages 13+ who consider themselves pre-professional dancers, and ages 16+ who are professional dancers. Pre-professional and professional dancers from all different dance backgrounds are invited to learn the fundamentals of Bollywood and Indian dance.

 

This will be a full three day curriculum covering a variety of different dance styles from India including but not limited to the following:

Classical: Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Kuchipudi and Odissi

Folk: Bhangra, Garba, Rajesthani and Lavni

Others: Mujhra, Abhinaya, and Modern Bollywood 

 

Attendees will focus on technique, choreography, expressions and the culture of Indian dance). This dance intensive's purpose is to help dancers from all walks of life to really understand, learn and apply the proper art of Bollywood and Indian dance.  This initiative will really help dancers refine their skills in multiple ways, expand their dance vocabulary, and explore the vast field of Indian dance with top artists who are experts in their fields.

The Dance Intensive will begin in Chicago, Illinois followed by a multi city tour. Details coming in May!
