Reena Kansal's passion for dance started over 25 years. She loves fusion dance numbers that combine her Indian classical training in Kathak along with modern, ballet, jazz and hip-hop dance styles. Reena is also known to fly to India just to participate in Narvatri, which is celebrated by performing Garba-Raas, an Indian folk dance. Reena is a member of Aavegh, a nonprofit dance company that pushes the boundaries of contemporary Indian dance and art while raising awareness and money for special causes. Now as a mom, she enjoys dancing with her daughter and teaching dance to children. She hopes dance brings as much enjoyment to the next generation as it does to her.
