Meher’s premier dance troupe explores India’s colorful culture by encompassing styles of Indian dance from all regions. This includes Bollywood, Bhangra, Indian classical, Garba, Raas and Launi. They have performed for internationally acclaimed artists such as Sonu Nigam, DJ Rekha, Bollywood star Anusha Dandekar and many more. The dance troupe also takes pride in performing for the Mayor, Rahm Emanuel, and the Chicago Sinfonietta Orchestra. It is very involved in the Chicago dance community and can be seen at many local events throughout the year. They also specialize in film and music videos as well as special event performances. As a dance troupe, they enjoy exploring the fusion of eastern and western cultures in their choreography.
