Kids Program & Curriculum

Meher Dance Company offers a series of kids dance classes in Chicago, surrounding suburbs and Virtually for children of all ages. Our instructors establish a strong foundation of movement with an emphasis on technique, rhythm, skills, confidence, and expressions. In addition, kids are exposed to all styles of Indian dance forms, such as Semi-Classical Kathak and Bharatnatyam, Folk Dances Bhangra, Garba, Raas, and Lavni with elments of western styles such as Hip Hop, Contemporary and modern dance to help them be well rounded dancers. We also incorporate cultural components in our classes for students to learn about the Indian culture. This season, you will have an option to choose from either in-person or virtual classes.
